Glambert Angels is a fan-based movement founded by fans of Adam Lambert. Their main purpose is to make a positive difference by spreading Light, Love & Hope to those in need.
In order to do that, Glambert Angels collaborate with different organizations worldwide by helping them to raise funds for whatever projects they need, as well as raising awareness for the causes they need to spread.
Since 2010, his fans have been gifting Adam’s music to the LGBTQ Youth. This time, Glambert Angels is collaborating with the Trans Youth Equality Foundation (TYEF) in honor of Adam’s tweet below:
TYEF is a non profit foundation founded by the mother of a transgender child after she struggled to find the resources to help her child. TYEF provides education, advocacy, and support for transgender children, youth, and their families. Their goal is to share as much information as they can about the unique needs of this community, partnering with families, educators, and service providers to help foster a healthy, caring, and safe environment for all transgender children.
When Glambert Angels spoke to TYEF’s director, Susan Maasch, they learned that organizations that support Transgender Youth have a hard time gaining support. And that’s where the Glambert Angels came in, because they believe that sharing “Light, Love and Hope” is something that anyone can do.
In a letter that went along with Adam’s song “Welcome To The Show,” he wrote, “We Hold Each Other Up.” And that’s the saying his fans go by, because they are the ones who can hold each other up.
TYEF has summer and fall youth camps where kids 7 to 17 years of age can have fun, all while building the confidence that they need. The kids can choose kayaking, hiking, archery, swimming, arts and more, along with singing around the camp fire. Kids 13 years and up can also learn about topics such as trans legal rights and more in their workshop programs.
With your help, the kids who are in need of financial help can travel to the camp. At this camp, kids can feel safe, accepted, and free to be themselves. Many of the campers have said that their camp experience was “lifesaving.”
“Trans Youth Equality Foundation is pleased to have the support of Glambert Angels as they raise funds to support our youth. We are very appreciative of their time, effort and compassion for transgender children. We know that the Glamberts are going to be enthusiastic about this effort. This support will allow us to offer summer and fall camp scholarships to support our goal that every trans child that wants to attend camp may. And that every child counts. Thank you Glambert Angels! Your support means so much to us! Adam’s fans rock!” Susan Maasch (Director, TYEF)
If you’d like more information on how you can donate, please visit the Glambert Angels website HERE. All of the donations go directly to The Trans Youth Equality Foundation and can be made via TYEF’s Pay Pal or by check.
The Glambert Angels plan to support 3 to 4 projects annually and have other organizations signed up for upcoming projects. Please note that their projects will not coincide with Adam’s own Official charitable projects.
For those who cannot donate, simply helping to spread awareness is a huge help and very well appreciated.
