Music’s biggest night just got its contenders — and it’s a defining year for both hip-hop and pop.

The 2026 Grammy nominations see Kendrick Lamar once again at the forefront with nine nods, reaffirming his status as one of the decade’s most dominant voices. Close behind, Lady Gaga makes a grand return with seven nominations, tying with producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut, while Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, and breakout talent Leon Thomas each score six, rounding out a fiercely competitive field of frontrunners.

With 95 categories spanning every corner of the music landscape, this year’s lineup strikes a balance between genre-bending innovation and mainstream power. From global superstars to fresh new voices, the nominations reflect an industry in flux — one where boundary-pushing artistry and chart-topping success finally meet in equal measure.
