Cheryl, Matthew Morrison, Oti Mabuse, Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo have spoken exclusively to CelebMix ahead of the new series of The Greatest Dancer, which starts this weekend on BBC One.

Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo will host the new dance talent show, and dancers of all ages and styles will put their best moves forward in a bid to win a £50,000 prize.

Matthew, Oti, and Cheryl will serve as Dance Captains on the competition.

If the £50K prize money wasn’t enough, the lucky winner (or winners!) will also be asked to perform on Strictly Come Dancing 2019’s opening episode.

At last night’s press launch (January 2nd), Cheryl told us that she loved us (yes, we got a little bit giddy when we heard that!) and spilled the beans on the new show alongside her co-judges Matthew and Oti. Watch now:

After that, our resident presenter Sugapuff and cameraman Shaz Salimian asked host Alisha Dixon whether or not we could expect a Mis-Teeq reunion any time soon. It wasn’t the answer we were looking for, but Alisha refused to rule out the possibility of the Scandalous group getting back together…

The Greatest Dancer starts this Saturday, 05 January 2019 at 8.00PM on BBC One. Keep it CelebMix all series as we bring you the latest on the judges, the contestants, and more.
