According to Headline Planet, Green Day’s album Revolution Radio has officially take the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart! The album has already sold approximately 88,700 US copies during its first week.
This is Green Day’s first chart-topper since 2007’s 21st Century Breakdown and 2004’s American Idiot. Although this much is true, Revolution Radio is Green Day’s tenth top 10 album. Both in 2012, Uno! peaked at No. 2 and Dos! peaked at No. 9, while Dookie peaked at No. 2 back in January of 1995.
You can catch Green Day on their 65 date Revolution Radio Tour in support of the group’s twelfth studio album, Revolution Radio, along with Against Me. The band will be travelling all over North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand from September 2016 through July 2017. Check out the full tour dates below.
