Up and coming British recording artist Griff releases the music video for her brand new single Forgive Myself – an introspective and empowering electro/R&B track that flips the conventional “break-up song” on its head, by encouraging its listener to think less about an ex, and more about themself!

“It’s gonna be hard trusting my feelings again, ‘cus what if they mess up again?”

Filmed solely at home, on her phone, the tracks innovative and inspired accompanying music video sees Griff perform in a series of imaginative setups whilst performing the tracks poignant and relatable lyrics to camera.

“Quarantine came and we had no video, so I kinda had no choice but to try and pull off a music video alone in my house.” the Mirror Talk singer says of the super creative clip. “Once we brainstormed the idea for the video, I started sewing some of the outfits; I then got sent some lights, two projectors and a few tripods and spent the day filming the video on my phone and the team directed me through Zoom.”

“It was definitely the most intense video I’ve done so far, but I’m quite proud of what we pulled off.”

Check out the official music video for Forgive Myself below:

    Introducing… Griff!

With her formidable work ethic and endless sense of wonder and curiosity for life, singer, songwriter, producer and straight-A-student Griff proves that anything and everything is possible, no matter where you come from, as long as you wholeheartedly believe in the power of your dreams!

Born in Watford, London to Chinese and Jamaican parents, Griff first began making music by borrowing her brother’s Logic and teaching herself how to produce songs in secret, taking time to hone her craft, and to create a unique style and signature sound all of her own. And from her startlingly mature early releases to her signature bubble ponytail, Griff has shown a shrewd observational eye for the highs and lows of young adulthood, with tracks like Mirror Talk and Good Stuff.

An artist in the truest sense of the word, this multicultural, multi-hyphenated and multi-talented performer is only just beginning and we cannot wait to see what she does next!
