Cue the baby Groot dancing gifs as Marvel has just unveiled the tracklisting for the second ‘Awesome Mix’, just in time for the sequel that is set to hit cinemas in a few weeks! The new mixtape reveals Star-Lord’s new mix of classic rock songs, as well as a track original to the upcoming film.
This is good news for Marvel as the soundtrack’s predecessor which came out in 2014 was widely successful. Featuring 1970s and 1980s songs, the soundtrack album managed to reach No 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first of its kind to do so.
