Gwen Stefani has released the name of her new solo album as ‘This is What the Truth Feels Like’.
Her last album, ‘The Sweet Escape’, was released in 2006; a full ten years ago, so imagine our surprise when she announced the news of a new album.
‘This is What the Truth Feels Like’ is due to arrive 18th March and includes songs such as ‘Used to Love You’ written following Stefani’s split from husband Gavin Rossdale in August 2015.

“It sounds really dope and fun. It’s crazy and she brought me in to collaborate with her and create some good energy. She’s amazing. This new album is like new Gwen and a taste of what we love from her,” LunchMoney Lewis told Ryan Seacrest.
Stefani also confirmed on Instagram that she has been working with Justin Tranter and Mattman & Robin on this new project.
Stefani debuted as a solo artist in 2004 after the split of No Doubt, with her album ‘Love. Angel. Music. Baby.’ including huge hits such as ‘What You Waiting For?’ and ‘Rich Girl’. The album peaked at number seven on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 309,000 copies in its first week.
“I didn’t know I was gonna have a baby, I didn’t know I was gonna be on The Voice, I didn’t know I was gonna be writing new music, so I’m just like, what’s gonna be next?” she revealed at the 2015 MTV Music Awards.
