Following the success of her first single, “New Americana”, from her debut album Badlands, Halsey has announced that her next single is “Colors”, which is sure to get fans excited!

Earlier today, Halsey tweeted that she was to announce the single in a unique way in the streets of Brooklyn, NY.

Excited to announce the next single off of Badlands in one of the coolest ways. Williamsburg, Brooklyn. On the corner of Franklin & Meserole

Then fans shortly discovered that Halsey has decided to release the fan favorite as a single! Here you can see that a wall has been covered in graffiti art with what appears to be the silhouette of Halsey covered with a splash of lilac color with the words “Colors Halsey” in her logo font.

“You were red and you liked me ’cause I was blue. You touched me and suddenly I was a lilac sky and you decided purple just wasn’t for you”. – Halsey, “Colors”

How cool does that look?! We are so excited to hear “Colors” take over the radio! The song being a single also means a chance of a music video and we are definitely looking forward to see what creative way Halsey will bring this song to life.

Notice also, there is a phone number at the bottom of the wall. The @VisitBadlands Twitter account also tweeted the exact same number a few hours after the song reveal.

    (317)-723-5637

    — BADLANDS (@VisitBadlands) January 21, 2016

When you call the number, a recording sounds with Halsey speaking with a melody of “Colors” in the background. The message gives a hint that something is definitely coming soon. The call also follows up with a text message that just says “the password is KeepRunning”. Confusing right? But Halsey definitely has something big planned for us.

Everything will make sense soon. Just not today. #KeepRunning

We are so excited to see what’s to come and for “Colors” to be the next single off Badlands! Here are a couple of our favorite lyrics!

“You’re dripping like a saturated sunrise, you’re spilling like an overflowing sink. You’re ripped at every edge but you’re a masterpiece and now you’re tearing at the pages and the ink”.

“Everything is grey. His hair, his smoke, his jeans, and now he’s so devoid of color he don’t know what it means”.

“I know I’ve only felt religion when I lied with you”.
