Broadway’s hit musical Hamilton will hit theaters around the United States on the show’s first ever national tour. The tour will begin in March in San Francisco, California. From there it will move to cities such as Los Angeles, Detroit, and other major US venues.
To start the tour off with a bang, Joshua Henry will take over as Aaron Burr. Henry currently plays Burr in the Hamilton Chicago cast but will soon start rehearsals with the rest of the national touring cast to prepare for California.
Michael Luwoye will take on his own version of Alexander Hamilton. Current Broadway king Rory O’Malley will continue his reign as King George III on this touring sensation.
The powerful Schuyler sister trio is also stirring up excitement in the theater community. Solea Pfeiffer will burn the house down as ever-gentle Elizabeth Schuyler while Emmy Raver-Lampman takes her shot at the sassy and fierce Angelica Schuyler. Let’s also not forget Amber Iman as the iconic ‘And Peggy’ Schuyler.
As for Hamilton’s crew, Jordan Donica will depict Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Isaiah Johnson will lead as George Washington. Ruben J. Carbajal will play Hamilton’s best friend John Laurens and son Philip Hamilton, and Mathenee Treco will take over as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison.
As of this January, tickets are sold out at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco. Tickets are available on resell sites for as high as $15,000. We hope more tickets will release soon.
