Happy Birthday HRVY

HRVY, the Singer who became a social media phenomenon on platforms such as Instagram and musical.ly, turns 19 today. He has amassed over 2 million Instagram followers as well as over 1.2 million on musical.ly.

Let’s take a look at what he’s successfully accomplished so far.

Harvey Leigh Cantwell was born 28 January 1999 in Kent, England. Also known by his stage name HRVY, he is an English pop singer and TV presenter. He was a presenter on BBC’s Friday Download on CBBC from Series 7 to Series 9

The journey began in his teenage years when he was encouraged by friends to upload videos of his performances to Facebook. In 2013, with the help of manager Blair Dreelan, he started performing live and was quickly signed with Universal Music.

HRVY’s first single “Thank You” was released in late 2013 and became a huge hit. Next came various tours, appearances, single releases, and other pop star activities. HRVY appeared as a guest presenter on the BBC television show Friday Download, and signed on as a full-time host in 2016. He regularly uploaded videos to his YouTube channel, including cover songs and collaborations with other pop stars.

During 2017, he went on tour and also had a Christmas tour with Chloe Rose and Roadtrip. In 2017, he released his Holiday EP, which included the hit single ‘Phobia’. At the end of 2017 he released another single called ‘Personal’, and not long after this he accompanied the song with a music video. This has received over 50 millions views!

The Vamps recently announced that HRVY would be the final support act to join them on tour in Spring 2018.

At the moment 2018 is looking very exciting for HRVY and we can’t wait to join him on his journey!
