Unfortunately, Michael died on June 25, 2009. His music is still treasured and continues to have major influence on artists today. Michael would be 58 today if he was still alive.

To celebrate Michael’s birthday, we are going to stroll down memory lane and share his successes.

Thriller, Billie Jean and Beat It

Michael had some hits on other albums but none as successful as the Thriller album. Thriller, Billie Jean and Beat It are the most noteworthy songs on the album. Thriller was one of Michael’s biggest hits. This video also was one of the first of it’s kind. With the concept and length being like a miniature movie.

Smooth Criminal, Bad and Dirty Diana

Michael features these songs in his movie titled Moonwalker. Moonwalker shares the story of his life and contains varies hits throughout the film. However, it is not just music. The film watches Michael become the hero after saving three young kids.

And last but certainly not least:

Man in the Mirror, Black or White and Heal the World

In 1992, Michael started a foundation after finding inspiration in this song. In addition, he named the foundation Heal the World. Man in the Mirror, Black or White and Heal the World are inspirational songs that continue to be talked about today.

Happy Birthday to the King of Pop. We will continue to enjoy and share Michael’s music.
