The Hard Rock Café is a name we all recognise, love and trust as they offer a little something for everyone. From their Rock and Roll background to their delicious dining experience, they’ve come a long way since the start of their journey back in 1971.
After it all began when Eric Clapton asked for his guitar to be displayed above the bar one day, Hard Rock now have venues in 74 countries, including 185 cafes, 27 hotels and 12 casinos. Hard Rock International (HRI) is one of the most globally recognised companies.
Their new exciting Piccadilly Circus venue, opening in 2019, will cover a huge 1,800 square meters over two floors featuring music, entertainment, iconic merchandise, along with classic American cuisine. The modern design will showcase an open kitchen with a heavy influence from one of London’s famous features- the underground.
There will be a stage for live music in the main dining room and the memorabilia featured will be from a mixture of much loved classics such as David Bowie, George Michael and Freddie Mercury to contemporary UK artists like Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX and Ellie Goulding.
Stephen K. Judge, President of Cafe Operations for Hard Rock International said, “More than 47 years ago, the first Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors in my homeland, and a restaurant classic was born on Old Park Lane in London.
“However, all brands, even classic ones, know that to stay relevant they must evolve. Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus will embody a modern evolution of our restaurants and a wonderful representation of the brand’s future.”
The existing Park Lane café located on Hyde Park Corner will remain open as a piece of The Hard Rock’s great history.
