Harry Styles of One Direction has donated two teddy bears worth a total of £26,000 to the Tele’s Bald Is Beautiful campaign.
For the past few years the eight- foot teddies have taken their place inside of Harry’s London home.Now, however, Harry will be moving into a new place and has decided the teddy bears aren’t going to be tagging along.
He wanted them to go to a good cause and got in touch with the dundee fundraiser Charlie Kean, who has launched the campaign along with the Tele.
Megan Fletcher was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma but wanted her illness to result in something positive.
The campaign is aiming to raise £20,000 and has already reached above the £3,000 mark.
Charlie said both Harry and One Direction have been supporters of his other charity work in the past.
He added;” Harry wanted the teddy bears to go to a good cause and when I told him about Bald Is Beautiful he was totally supportive. He told me if they could raise money to help Megan in her cause he would be delighted to donate them.”
Charlie also said;” Given that the bears belonged to Harry Styles Of One Direction, I would think they would attract a lot of attention. I am very excited because I am hopeful that they will raise us a lot of money.”
