Timothée Chalamet is the next up and coming actor. He has been nominated for countless awards including an Academy Award nomination for his role as Elio in Call Me By Your Name. Chalamet is the face of the recent cover of i-D magazine and had the honor of talking to singer-songwriter, Harry Styles through a phone interview.
Timothée has featured in films such as the Academy Award nominated LadyBird (also featuring Academy Award nominated actress, Saorise Ronan) and Call Me By Your Name (featuring Armie Hammer). Now, he is in a brand new film, Beautiful Boy, in theaters now. Beautiful Boy is about a high schooler that struggles with addiction.
During the article, Harry asked Timothée many questions about Call Me By Your Name, Beautiful Boy, who he liked more – Cardi B or Nicki Minaj, the positives and negatives of social media, what it was like working with big time director, Christopher Nolan, and more.
Harry also revealed in the interview that he is currently working on his second album, which we cannot wait for. He also revealed that he watches Big Mouth on Netflix. He asked Timothée if he has ever watched it, “Do I have to get into that?” he asked, with Harry then saying yes.
Harry’s last question for Timothée was, “What is the meaning of life?”
He said, “That we’re all only here for so long. Live and let live. Love deeply. Love openly. And know that the wise man knows he’s ignorant but cultivates more understanding.”
