If you’ve managed to make it to one of Harry Styles’ your dates this year, you know how incredibly magical the experience is. Not only does he own the stage, sing his heart out, and perform like a true rock star – he’s been covering songs that we absolutely love.
We have to admit, we were absolutely expecting Harry to cover Fleetwood Mac on his tour and we were hoping and praying (with all we have) that we’d finally hear his version of ‘Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart’, but we were not expecting him to take a country ballad and turn it into something so beautiful and so very Harry.
The song? Little Big Town’s ‘Girl Crush’. It was an emotional tune to begin with but Harry’s spin on it takes it to a new level entirely. The band themselves even praised Harry for the rendition of it he sang at the Ryman just days ago.
Wish we could have seen this in person. So cool to hear your cover, @Harry_Styles! #girlcrush pic.twitter.com/dg9IlCHgrX

Now, if you’ve not been lucky enough to hear the song in person yet, and can’t get the full experience with concert footage online – fear not. Harry has released a studio version on Spotify. It’s just as beautiful as it is in person, and we know it will be the newest addition to all of your playlists. It certainly is on ours.
In addition to Girl Crush, Harry added a studio version of Two Ghosts as well.
The songs are part of the launch of the Spotify Sessions Hub which contains hundreds of recordings specifically for Spotify. Via the link above, you can only listen if you’re in the UK and Ireland, where they show up in the Browse section, but a Twitter search will allow those outside of Ireland and the UK to enjoy the songs, too.
Have you been lucky enough to hear Girl Crush live? Let us know.
