Harry Styles has donated some of the proceeds from his recent concert in Scotland to support the Allanton World Peace Sanctuary’s Soul of WoMen event.

The money Harry has donated will help fund a special conference at Allanton, near Auldgirth, on 23 June. The Soul of WoMen event is being held a day before the World Peace Festival, which celebrates it’s 20th anniversary this year.

This is the second year the event has been held. The Soul of WoMen consists of talks, roundtable discussions and skill-sharing workshops. Its goal is to inspire and empower a more gender-balanced world. Topics being explored include equality, health, the environment, community engagement, civic pride and individual action – with an emphasis on sharing positive solutions.

Balancing the masculine and feminine qualities within ourselves, our communities and our world.

What makes Harry choosing to donate to Allanton World Peace Sanctuary so special is his keyboard and backing vocalist Clare Uchima’s mum Caroline is the director of Allanton World Peace Sanctuary which puts on the event. Clare’s Dad Uma is also the ‘peace pole maker and chef.
