Harry Styles is just weeks away from starting his first solo tour and the buzz around him is only building (as it usually is). His first solo record followed no rules, it was instead a glimpse into facets of his life he’d not been as open about before set to the tune of music he wanted to listen to himself. Harry loves his debut album, and fans couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Weeks after Harry’s album was released, he starred in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk and wowed audiences around the world as a soldier hell-bent on getting home, no matter what it took. His character was one of the most talked about after the film’s debut, and with good reason, he brought an arc to the storyline.
Some may be wondering what else is in store for Harry, and the truth is, even with a busy tour schedule, he’s still making time for radio shows and special television programming. One of those events is being filmed on August 30th in Manchester and the host will be none other than Nick Grimshaw. It makes sense, as Harry debuted his first solo single ‘Sign of the Times’ with him earlier this year, and the two have been friends for some time. Registration to apply for tickets to be in the audience is open from
If you’d like to apply for tickets the open registration is from 10 am on August 21st to 11:55 pm on August 22nd. All of the information fans need can be found here.
The show will feature tracks Harry has never performed in front of a television audience and will also feature stories from Harry about his incredible career so far. Other stars who have performed similar shows are Adele and Michael Bublé.
Nick Grimshaw had this to say about the BBC One special.
‘Harry is a great performer and full of so many wonderful stories about his extraordinary career, which he’ll be sharing with us, I can’t wait for this show!‘
We can’t wait either, and if you can’t make it to the audience, the special will debut on television this November.
