Hayley Williams has dropped the first part of her upcoming debut studio album, “Petals For Armor”!
The Paramore frontwoman’s first album as a solo artist is not out until May, but she has decided to give us all a teaser with an EP of five of the album’s tracks ahead of its release.
Part I includes the previously released singles “Simmer” and “Leave It Alone”, as well as three other new tracks: “Cinnamon”, “Creepin’” and “Sudden Desire”.
In a statement on her website, Hayley said: “Today I’ve released five songs from my upcoming album… this collection is called “PETALS FOR ARMOR I”.
“There are a lot of themes covered on the album as a whole and I thought it was best to separate some of these themes so that there can be time for everyone to digest some of the songs before we move along to others.
“It’s a way to include people on the journey in the same way that I experienced it.
“I Hope you love Part 1. It is full of so many feelings and things that I’m learning, which are leading me to a new place in my life. Enjoy.”
Hayley also released the weird yet wonderful video for “Cinnamon” today, which you can view below:
