In the meantime, a white female dragon is captured by the warlords and given to the dragon hunter named Grimmel the Grisly – Grimmel uses her as bait to capture Toothless who the warlords intend to employ as an alpha. With this newfound ability, she begins to turn tables on her male colleagues as she competes to sign the next basketball superstar named Jamal Barry. She soon realizes though she could hear Jamal’s thoughts she never listened attentively. When she meets Jamal next at her hangout spot she asks him what he really wanted. Jamal opens up to her and tells he wants to be with his own people. Ali advises him to follow his heart which results in Jamal deciding to stay in the US – he moves onto become the number 1 pick for an NBA team while Ali gets promoted and eventually sets up her own agency.

As cynical as she had always been about love, with a strong hatred for romantic comedies, Natalie’s worst nightmare comes true – she discovers she did not have a choice but to find true love if she wanted to step back into her own reality – in a way she comes to play the leading lady in a romantic comedy before she comes back to the real world – but when she does return she is a new woman who has left behind her cynicism and her low self-esteem.
