Back in February of this year, Yorkshire singer/songwriter Holly Tandy made a bid for Eurovision stardom with her version of the UK entry ‘Bigger Than Us’. The country-infused rendition received rave reviews across the internet with fans hoping for a British country music act to represent the United Kingdom in the singing contest for the first time.
Unfortunately for Tandy, she just missed out on representing the nation to Michael Rice, but this hasn’t stopped the talented vocalist from going after her dreams. In fact, this year has been huge for Holly, who yesterday (Tuesday, October, 29th) officially announced that she is now signed to a record label, and management team and will be releasing her long-awaited debut single ‘Small Talk’ on November 6th.
Breaking the exciting news on Social Media, Holly Tandy wrote: “So excited to announce I’ve signed a record deal and have new management. My first single “Small Talk” is being released on 6th November. Watch out for sneak previews of the music video over the next few days. Thanks for all your support. I’m excited and can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been working on behind the scenes. Watch this space!”.
The future is looking insanely bright for Holly Tandy who will look to break out next week when her first track drops.
