Hope For The Day Wants You To Know That You’re Not Alone #SuicidePrevention

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Please know that you are not alone and that help is out there.

Filmed during this summer’s 2017 Warped Tour, Hope For The Day (HPTD) founder and CEO Jonny Boucher spoke to Neck Deep and Beartooth about making a positive impact in the music scene.

Ben Barlow from Neck Deep shared saying, “Neck Deep’s message and Hope For The Day’s message are so similar that they go hand-in-hand. I feel like there’s some good that we can do, as a band. Anyone with a platform’s duty is to do something positive with it.”

Taylor Lumley from Beartooth shared saying, “We got involved pretty much as soon as we could. For us, it became a way to bridge our message as a group with an organization that’s trying to help find solutions for people.”

Hope For The Day achieves proactive prevention by providing outreach and education through self-expression platforms.

According to HFTD:

“Stigmas are social and cultural factors that try to dictate how we express ourselves and compel individuals to be silent on their internal experiences. Proactive prevention is about creating an environment that doesn’t wait for someone to reach a point of crisis to address their mental health. We will reduce rates through…”

“If anybody is struggling out there, just realize you’re not alone and that you deserve a lot better.” – Hope For The Day
