Cabin fever is real. It is defined as the irritability, anxiety, and discomfort one feels when confined in an isolated space for an extended period.

The term was first coined when residents had to stay cooped up in their cabins throughout the winter.

Ignoring these fears and emotions might seem like the practical thing to do, but it’s not as easy as one would think. The longer isolation lasts, the more prone you are to breaking down.

So, how do you fight cabin fever? There are several ways, ranging from playing ??????? (GClub) online to going for a stroll around the neighbourhood.

    1. Binge-Watch Your Favourite Shows

The most basic way to entertain yourself is to binge-watch TV. With all the time you have right now, you will easily burn through your list of shows and movies.

Tip: Explore genres you don’t normally watch. It is an excellent opportunity to broaden your interests when it comes to TV entertainment.

    2. Follow a Strict Fitness Routine

Make the most out of your self-isolation by taking on a fitness routine. The program should consist of proper dieting, regular exercise, and proper supplementation.

Most gyms are closed, so we recommend doing at-home workouts. Invest in dumbbells, resistance bands, and kettlebells, for example.

You can also stick to bodyweight workouts without props. It is surprising the difference that daily push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, burpees, and sprints can have on your body over a few weeks.

    3. Read a Book

Do not limit yourself to TV shows and movies as a pastime. During quarantine, immerse yourself in literature, as well. Those who enjoy romance and fantasy can explore fictional pieces, but the list of options is endless.

Why not go through all the books you have hoarded over the years but never read?

Tip: You have dozens of genres, so there’s bound to be something that piques your interest. If you like playing GClub online, read up on the different gambling strategies.

    4. Video Call Your Loved Ones

Technology allows us to contact whoever we want whenever we want. Even if you are stuck at home, you can still see your loved ones’ faces through popular social media apps.

    5. Play With Your Pets

Use this self-isolation period to make up time with your furry little family members. Think back to all the times you left them alone because you were working overtime, out with friends, or too busy with your fast-paced lifestyle.

    6. Start a Side Hustle

The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us a lot of things, including the need for multiple sources of income. It is the only way to ensure you that are financially safe, no matter what happens.

If you still don’t have a side hustle, explore a few options. You can try the world of e-commerce and start selling items you know well.

Office workers can also provide contractual services, like web development. Look for companies that are hiring web developers and apply for a contractual position, for example.

    7. Play Online Games

There are plenty of games available on your phone. Choose from RPGs (Final Fantasy), simulation games (Honkai Impact), and even online gambling sites (like GClub).

There’s no reason not to enjoy the time you’ve been given in self-isolation.
