Ilan Bell is a New York City-based singer-songwriter who has already made quite the name for himself in the underground indie-pop music world. He launched his music career this year, but prior to the release of his debut single, Ilan Bell worked with a variety of singer-songwriters as a writer-producer with the works going on to be used regularly on film and TV. He also played a leading role in helping launch the largest songwriting camp in New York City history. Hosted by the hit producer Danny Ross, Anti Social Camp included celebrity guests and artists: Walk the Moon, Rob Thomas, and JP Saxe. The camp yielded over 150 songs and was featured in Billboard Magazine. Now, Ilan Bell is stepping out from the background and is ready to hit the music industry, deciding it was time to champion himself. Teaming up with the Grammy award-winning producer, Paul Falcone (Jay-Z, Beyonce, Tom Odell), Ilan Bell is gearing up to release his debut studio album, titled “American Love”. He has already shown his ballad style with his debut single “Through It All”, which has continued to gain traction and has been featured on a whole host of playlists, leading to tens of thousands of streams. We wouldn’t be surprised if his sophomore single goes viral, also, and go on to become his most-streamed track.
Written by the artist, himself, alongside Michael Lituchy, “Anna” is a striking and addictive indie-pop/rock track that is surely going to transport the listener back to the ’90s when indie-pop/rock was soaring on charts around the world. Ilan Bell impresses with his vocals, adding emotional warmth to the lyrics as he reflects on a past relationship and how the break-up really affected him but now all he has is well wishes for his ex, who the song is named after.
