Award-winning Austin-based ILLfest Music & Street Art Festival is proud to unveil the highly anticipated full lineup for its 5th edition on September 3rd and 4th, 2022 taking place at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
AC Slater, Chromeo, Louis the Child, Kayzo, Mija, Habstrakt, Wax Motif, and more will join an already star-studded lineup of GRiZ, Jai Wolf, Madeon, and Slander among others for their most dynamic, electrifying assortment of talent yet.
Four stages, 50+ of the finest touring and local artists, 30+ muralists over two days, along with their biggest, most comprehensive talent lineup to date, ILLfest will feature a wide array of on-site attractions that promise to make this the best edition of their flagship series.
Each year, ILLfest partners with pioneering street muralists and digital artists to illustrate their star-studded lineup – each design uniquely crafted to match the spirit of the growing festival. Following a collaboration with Barcelonian street artist el Pez, ILLfest 2022 features lineup art and digital branding in collaboration with multi-faceted entertainment and NFT artist Alex Solis. Along with bespoke balloon creations created by in-demand artist Balloonski, over 10,000 square feet of stunning street artistry and projection mapping will be on display, making for a one-of-a-kind crowd experience.
When hunger hits, ILLfest is delighted to be curating a food and craft experience featuring local and national vendors that seamlessly match the ILLfest ethos and vibe.
The Circuit of the Americas spans over 1,500 acres, providing the perfect venue for the locally owned and loved festival that has grown into a 2-day event with over 10k attendees per day.
After launching in 2016 on Baylor University’s campus as “ILLectric River,” the locally-owned breakout festival re-branded as ILLfest in 2019 and is lauded for its Texas roots, and expansive collection of street art murals, masterfully curated electronic and live music lineup, and best-in-class attendee experience.
In a world where massive corporate players book the same artists and provide the same experiences under different brand names, ILLfest producers aim to offer a unique breath of fresh air and authenticity to attendees. Despite all of the growth since its humble roots in Waco in 2016, the vision and execution remain the same: to deliver a boutique and reality-bending experience, supercharged by street art, a diverse lineup, and obsessive attention to guest experience detail.
ILLfest is produced by ILLevated Sounds, with support from other staples in the Texas live music scene: Mark My Words Presents and Prime Nightcult, who are known for bringing dozens of artists each month to Dallas, Houston, Austin, and surrounding markets.
