DJ and production trio, Jaded, have dropped their latest dance anthem, ‘Move It’.
The feel-good house tune delivers a mixture of electronic, urban and garage vibes, ultimately creating a vibrant hit just in time for summer.
‘Move It’ is the follow-up track to recent hit, ‘Slippin’, – which was released on Don Diablo’s HEXAGON imprint label – featuring Black Caviar and Antony & Cleopatra.
The track is set to follow the success of previous releases, ‘Pancake’ and, ‘In the Morning’, which garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and Kiss Fresh.
The London-based trio have amassed over 65 million streams since their 2015 EP, ‘Big Round & Juicy’, and have impressed everybody with their bouncy beats ever since.
Not only have Jaded remixed tracks for the likes of Avicii, Rita Ora and The Vamps, they have gained support from renowned DJs such as Oliver Heldens, Jonas Blue, Diplo, and many more A-Listers …including Paul McCartney.
We caught up with the trio – aka Nari, Jordan and Teo– to chat about the track and how Jaded came about!
Hey Jaded. Tell our readers all about yourselves!
Just a couple of handsome dance producers bringing vibes!
We’re loving your latest track, ‘Just Move It’. Tell us more about it!
We were big on getting some hard-Caribbean island bounce on a track and coincidentally had RoRo in for a recording session the following week, safe to say she brought all of that and more!
We know you’re a trio. How did you guys meet?
We actually met in a studio in west London! We see all working on different projects at the time but realised we needed to join forces to go forward (Avengers style).
Was it always music or did any of you have other aspirations?
Music is our first and only love but yeah, we design a lot of our promo/art from the ground up.
Your singles ‘Pancake’ and ‘In the Morning’ did so well. Did you expect the reaction they got?
Not at all but I guess food orientated dance music is a thing ha! We were blown away with the response of pancake we get a new choreographed video sent to us with it every week. Also, Apple picking it up for their Apple Watch campaign was a real blessing.
What’s is like releasing tracks on Don Diablo’s label?
Crazy, he has the most hardcore fan base we’ve ever seen and they let us in to the family with open arms, we’re very grateful.
Can we expect any more collaborations this year?
Yep a couple of huge ones which unfortunately we can’t speak more about at this time!
What do you think your 2019 will look like?
A lot more music is the main aim we want triple the music out we had last year the people deserve more!
