Taking inspiration from the disparate realms of the musical universe, inSaturn releases their debut single “Lady Lion” from their upcoming self-titled debut EP. The single was released together with The 405 who said that: “inSaturn thrives in a passionate realm where chilling sounds and captivating art result in an overwhelming sensory overload once you finally press play and check out their mesmeric debut.” They have also mentioned that the new single is both captivating and stormy.
Upon listening to “Lady Lion”, one gets a very melancholic but also powerful vibe from it. There’s sadness but also a huge amount of strength. You can’t help but be captivated by the frontwoman Beth Cannon’s melodic whispers and operatic roars that stand out from the background of rich clattering crescendos and divergent guitar chimes that float on lofty, atmospheric synths. Aside from being melancholic, the single also has that sexual dash in it. It may not be prominent but it’s present.
The mind-bending songwriting and dextrous vocal talents of the band tug at one’s melancholic heartstrings that hold similarity and is fair reminiscent of Kate Bush while the beautiful post-rock soundtrack nods to the likes of Sigur Rós and Radiohead.

The band has also been announced to play at some of this summer’s festivals, and inSaturn will be appearing at The Great Escape, Festival No.6, Truck, YNOT and Together The People. More shows are due to be announced soon.
They are set to release their debut EP soon, and the inSaturn’s promise for the said EP? That it will be a “stunning kaleidoscopic project”.
