Some of you might be slightly familiar with this talented teen. She’s made an appearance as the feisty rebel but dearly endearing, Clem Burton, in CBBC’s The 4 O’Clock Club in 2015. And just recently, she released her debut single If You Only Knew in collaboration with Disney Channel UK and remixed by Cutmore.
Early beginnings
Raised in South London, Jade Alleyne was originally born in Aberdeen. Jade attended multiple performing arts institutions that surely curated a wonderful set of skills for a young girl. In 2010 to 2012, she became a regular at HJA Performing Arts, Beckenham and portrayed her skills in singing and dancing. She was then a member of “Dance Alive,” a street dance team where she got her first taste in performing and continued to pursue it as a career.
Since 2013, Jade has been a student at The Place’s Centre of Advanced Training, a place for young contemporary dancers like her and also known as the home of London Contemporary Dance School.
Present career
Currently, Jade Alleyne is a full-time student at Sylvia Young Theatre School. A handful of famous stars have also attended the institution such as Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock from Little Mix, Rita Ora, and Amy Winehouse.
She has recently released her debut single in collaboration with Disney Channel UK for their upcoming musical drama series, The Lodge. With early influences in R&B, pop and jazz music, Jade takes a confident stride into the music scene with her contagious single, “If You Only Knew“.
Cutmore, whose done remixes for Maroon 5, Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson, remixed the track accompanying Jade’s beautiful vocals. You can give the song a listen below or download it through iTunes if you want to make it your summer jam!
