If you’re a fan of the hit show “Pretty Little Liars,” you know that sadly, the teen drama is coming to an end with its possible final seventh season. However, the shows writer, Marlene King, may have hinted that fans can expect more “PLL” in the future.
King joined “Good Morning America’s 40 for 40” livestream and gave fans some juicy details of what’s to come after Spencer, Hanna, Aria, Emily, Alison, and the rest of the gang say their final goodbyes.
So what else can we expect after the show ends? King suggested that a possible movie may be in the works.
“We’ve got some really big ideas fora great PLL movie, but that won’t happen right after the series ends,” she stated. “I think we’ll take a little break and let everybody go off and do a few things and hopefully we’ll come back together again and do something really special.”
After taking five years to figure out the mystery of who exactly “A” was, the show is widely speculated to be coming to an end after the seventh season.
For now, fans have to wait for the anticipated second half of Season 6, when it returns in January 2016. However, ABC Family will be airing a “Five Years Forward” special on November 24. 2015.
