It seems as though celebrity feuds are quickly becoming a common ordeal. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen several celebrities go head-to-head with each other. From the likes of Drake and Meek Mill over alleged ghostwriters, to Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift about how being skinny influenced the MTV VMA’s ‘Video of the Year’ nominations. Taylor may have mended her relationship with Nicki, but she seems to be in the spotlight yet again – only this time because of a feud with Miley Cyrus!
A storm has begun to brew between the two famous artists. It all began when Miley recently spoke out in her Marie Claire interview about Taylor Swift’s hit music video ‘Bad Blood’, where she conveyed her dislike for the showcase of violence in the music video.
She told the magazine: “I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example? And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”
Taylor has apparently swiped back at the comments made by the controversial singer. Speaking to Hollywood Life, a source close to the star allegedly stated that: “Saying things like is so so typical of Miley. She is desperate for attention and will do anything to get it. It must kill Miley that Taylor has gotten so much attention for ‘Bad Blood’. In Taylor’s mind, Miley is just being jealous. She wants the spotlight on her and taking shots at Taylor is a good way to do it.” Yikes.
Taylor herself has yet to comment on Miley’s words, but both of them will be present at the MTV VMA’s. If this doesn’t get resolved soon, we could be in for an awkward televised spat when Taylor performs at the awards, as there is a good chance she’ll perform ‘Bad Blood’. There’s little doubt that Miley will have something to say about it while hosting the VMA’s.
