South Korean pop icon J-Hope is stepping into the spotlight with his first-ever solo world tour, Hope on the Stage. The BTS rapper and singer shared the exciting news just three months after completing his mandatory military service, marking a highly anticipated milestone in his solo career.
The tour is set to kick off with a three-night residency at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from February 28, 2025 to March 2, 2025, with the performances also streamed live for global fans. J-Hope will then traverse continents, with stops in major cities across North America and Asia. While exact details for the U.S. leg remain pending due to the impact of California wildfires, Big Hit Music confirmed a robust itinerary of 31 shows across 15 cities, including Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila, and Singapore.
The title Hope on the Stage reflects more than J-Hope’s dynamic presence. According to Big Hit Music, it embodies his aspirations, dreams, and heartfelt messages for fans delivered through his performances. The agency has promised a diverse setlist, featuring the live debut of tracks from J-Hope’s EP Hope on the Street Vol. 1, a project deeply connected to his artistic origins.
Fans can also look forward to surprises, as J-Hope teased new music slated for release in March 2025. A brief YouTube video titled Beginning of a New Dream gave a sneak peek at what’s to come—a laid-back track with soulful grooves and lilting vocals. It will mark his first musical release since his 2024 EP, which included collaborations with Jungkook, Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers, and Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin.
J-Hope’s solo endeavors come amid BTS’s temporary hiatus as the group’s members focus on individual projects and military service obligations. His 2022 debut solo album, Jack in the Box, and subsequent EP, Hope on the Street Vol. 1, showcased his versatility as an artist. The Hope on the Stage tour, paired with his upcoming music, marks a new chapter not just for J-Hope but also for BTS fans eager to see their favorite members explore their individual creative paths.
From Seoul to Singapore and Brooklyn to Bangkok, J-Hope’s world tour is set to electrify fans across the globe. Whether you’re catching him live in person or streaming from afar, Hope on the Stage promises to be an unforgettable experience.
