Global music megastar Jackson Wang makes his epic return to pop this week, with the release of his brand new single and music video for, LMLY (meaning “Leave Me Loving You”) – an 80’s inspired, synth-driven bop that’s set to feature on Jackson’s highly-anticipated second studio album scheduled to drop later this year.

Produced by Lostboy (Little Mix, Rita Ora, The Vamps) and The Six, the up-tempo track serves as the follow up to 2020’s Pretty Please, a collaboration with multi-platinum dance-pop duo Galantis, which reached #3 at US Dance Radio, and charted #9 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Sales Chart.

“‘LMLY’ is a continuous concept from my single, ‘Pretty Please’, but with a different love story,” Jackson says of the track. “This one is about me and a girl falling deeply in love, but there’s kind of a plot twist towards the end that views might not have seen coming. Visually, everything is in the same zone, same time period of ‘Pretty Please’, but the technique we used to film ‘LMLY’ was interesting and very fresh to us.”

    Listent to LMLY below:

The tracks accompanying music video, scripted entirely by Jackson and directed in collaboration with Mamesjao, serves as a sequel to Pretty Please, and follows tells a beautiful, one-sided love story occurring in Wang’s mind as he falls in love with a woman who regularly visits the tea restaurant where he works.

Inspired by the classic Hong Kong Chinese films Jackson grew up watching, the cinematic clip has already proved a massive hits with fans having amassed over 3 million views in just three days!
