Today in society we have various big stars in the industry who are working on some amazing projects which are very inspiring. One particular star who has made a positive impact on society is 26-year-old Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall, who has continued to raise money for and give love to a local charity called Cancer Connections.
Cancer Connections is a charity based in South Shields which supports people and families who have been affected by cancer. They have helped many people over the years, including one of Jade’s family members when they were fighting cancer. Jade has been working with the charity since she was 14 years old and has since been a patron for a number of years.
Jade has supported Cancer Connections in many ways throughout her life. For example, in 2017 Jade supported the charity by donating 1000 pieces of her wardrobe to Empire Preloved to sell. Here she raised over £6000 for Cancer Connections… we know right wow! You can read more about Jade’s work here.
This year is no different, and Jade has once again been busy supporting the charity in her own unique way. On 29th November, a fan account shared a post from Cancer Connections which revealed that Jade has provided gifts for the charity by donating them Little Mix merchandise and 2020 tour ticket. These will then be auctioned to raise money for the charity. Moreover, she will also be arranging a meet and greet soon! We know, she’s incredible!
