Jaden Smith Reveals Trailer & Release Date For Upcoming Album ‘SYRE’

Jaden Smith has teased fans with details of his upcoming debut album ‘SYRE: A Beautiful Confusion’.

Taking to Instagram yesterday (October 24th), Jaden posted a series of images and videos, giving listeners a taster of what they can expect, visually and sonically, from the record ahead of its official release on Friday, November 17th.

The 12 Instagram posts (available to view here) entitled “The SYRE Movie Trailer”, showcase audio clips from the project as well as still images of Smith covered with text like “The Sunset Killed Him”.

Jaden credits the scoring of the music featured in the Instagram clips to Ricky Eats Acid.

“SYRE, the story of a boy who chased the sunset till it chased him, never quite sure about his placement in this pink world or why nothing ever made sense, all he knew is everyday he woke up bleeding with amnesia and a case of new memories that he had tendencies to mistake for fiction.”
– Jaden Smith

Over on Twitter Smith wrote “I Cordially Invite You To Visit SYRE Land Via My Instagram. 3 Years In The Making Thank You #LongLiveSYRE |||”, before posting a number of still images captioned with rumoured song titles.

Jaden Smith has been pleasing fans throughout 2017, by releasing a number of ‘loose’ singles.

Tracks including ‘Diamonds v1’ ‘Batman’ and ‘Watch Me’, were all released via Columbia Records in the lead up to Smith’s debut solo album.
