From the very first episode of Teen Wolf we have known all about Stiles’ love for Lydia and have been able to watch their friendship grow in to something so much stronger than just walking by each other in the school hallways. They have defeated Beacon Hills scariest villains, combined their brilliant minds to solve dangerous problems and while doing all of that, they’ve also made time to get to know one another and see who they truly are.
Jeff Davis has made it very clear that the last season of Teen Wolf will very much be all about Stydia – which is great because this time we might finally get to see them in a relationship, but also sad as we’ll only get to see them in a possible relationship for only a handful of episodes.
The Season 6 trailer shows how everybody has forgotten Stiles, except Lydia. Jeff shared this script page where Lydia tells Stiles, “I’m not leaving you.”
Breaking down this glorious script page, Jeff says “They have something special, we decided that this is the place to show that they’ve gone from a simple crush to friends to something deeper.”
Jeff then went on to speak about what Beacon Hills will look like without Stiles. “Almost immediately people will notice something missing, because Stiles is such an indelible part of Beacon Hills. After episode 2, Scott, Lydia and Malia will start noticing the missing pieces as well. “They each realise that something huge is missing in their life and they come to this eventual conclusion it might be a person.”
Teen Wolf Season 6 premieres November 15th.
