Jesy Nelson, the talented contralto singer from girl group Little Mix, recently responded to a fans post on Instagram.
A Spanish mixer named Rachel talks about how she fought constantly with bulimia and anorexia before meeting Nelson. After seeing that Nelson herself had insecurities she decided to change and fix her eating habits.
It was then that her obsession with Little Mix began and has fallen in love with the group and their albums stating that they are all amazing,
Nelson then responded later with a beautiful paragraph message; part of it saying:
“You just have to remember that every single person in the world has insecurities no matter how big or small ur never ever alone in that but what makes you special is there’s only one you in the world and you have to embrace that!”
What makes this even more admirable is that she took the time to respond to a fan who literally admires her (and Little Mix in general). Jesy went through a similar stage of insecurity during her time on the X-factor but was able to conquer her fear with the help of her band mates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
Now if only everyone in the world were as grand and kindhearted like Jesy Nelson – it’d be pretty peaceful, wouldn’t you agree? x
