The track ‘Shallow’ from the global smash-hit movie A Star Is Born is one of the most successful songs released over the past 12 months with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper even picking up a Grammy Award earlier this month for the track showcasing its monumental fan and critic acclaim.
So covering this song is no easy feat for an artist. Cooper and Gaga have such a stamp on it making it a poignant and sentimental feeling that holds true to their hearts it’s always going to be difficult for any artist to truly make it their own.
However US Country Music stars Jimmie Allen and Abby Anderson seem to have managed the seemingly impossible with their version of the worldwide hit. Today, the pair shared their collaboration of ‘Shallow’ and the results are nothing short of breathtaking.
Their voices blend together beautifully and they bring a new edge to the song truly making it their own.
