After unveiling their new single ‘Tongue Tied’ less than a week ago, Joe and Jake have treated us once again. Today, they released a gorgeous acoustic version of their single!
Filmed in a rural setting, the boys have delivered a beautiful, pitch perfect version of the song. ‘Tongue Tied’ already has an acoustic vibe to it, which is one of the reasons why this live acoustic version is so incredible.
By stripping it all back, it also allows Joe and Jake’s vocals to truly shine. Their harmonies are on point and gave us goosebumps throughout. We also love how passionate they are during the performance, as well as their interactions with each other.
In all honesty, we didn’t think it was possible to love ‘Tongue Tied’ any more than we already did. However, Joe and Jake have pulled it out of the bag, and now we’re obsessing over the track all over again.

We think Joe and Jake are onto a winner with ‘Tongue Tied’, and it’s only the beginning for the duo. In our recent interview with them, they revealed that “in terms of style, ‘Tongue Tied’ is definitely a taste of things to come!” which makes us incredibly excited for their future.
With more music and live performances expected throughout the year, 2017 certainly looks bright for Joe and Jake. We can’t wait to follow their journey and see what they do next!
