    John Legend announces European tour and new single ‘Surefire’

    Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Legend has confirmed a 24-show tour of Europe, which will take place in September and October this year.

    The ‘Darkness and Light’ tour will kick off in Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on September 8, before taking in various UK locations and other European destinations including Amsterdam, Stockholm and Paris. The tour will culminate in Lisbon, Portugal on October 14.

    Tuesday 26th September – Stockholm Ericsson Globe, Sweden
    Wednesday 27th September – Oslo Spektrum, Norway
    Thursday 28th September – Copenhagen Royal Arena, Denmark
    Saturday 30th September – Berlin Columbiahalle, Germany

    Sunday 1st October – Munich Zenith, Germany
    Wednesday 4th October – Paris AccorHotels Arena, France
    Thursday 5th October – Belgium Forest National, Brussels
    Sunday 8th October – Cologne Palladium, Germany
    Monday 9th October – Frankfurt Jahrunderthalle, Germany
    Tuesday 10th October – Zurich Samsung Hall, Switzerland
    Thursday 12th October – Barcelona Palau Saint Jordi, Spain
    Saturday 14th October – Lisbon MEO Arena, Portugal

    Tickets for all shows, except for Barcelona, will go on sale on Friday March 31 at 9am GMT through Live Nation. The Barcelona date will go on sale at 9am GMT on Wednesday April 5.

    The tour will be in support of John’s latest album Darkness and Light, which includes lead single ‘Love Me Now’, which has garnered over 157,000,000 Spotify streams worldwide. To coincide with the news of the tour, John has also confirmed that ‘Surefire’ is the second single to be lifted from the album.

    John has been exceptionally busy as of late. Not content with just releasing his album, he recently co-produced and starred in global box office smash La La Land. He also recorded the title track to the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast, alongside Ariana Grande.
