Congratulations to John Legend and Chrissy Teigen who have welcomed their first child into the world, a daughter called Luna Simone Stephens!
Teigen was the first to share the news in an Instagram post earlier today. She declared how the couple are “so in love” with their baby girl, but also very sleepy, which is more than understandable! Luna weighed in at 6 pounds 11 ounces.
Legend later tweeted about the birth too, confirming that little Luna was born a few days ago on Thursday April 14.

The couple first revealed their pregnancy news back in October, with Teigen opening up about the struggles they faced when trying to conceive. She revealed that they had undergone IVF and in December she announced that she was expecting a baby girl.
To celebrate, Teigen and Legend had two baby showers, one of which was hosted by Kim Kardashian! The Kardashian-hosted baby shower even had its own Snapchat filter and a lot of it was documented on social media for fans to see. One of the highlights was a pink and white cake, decorated with a huge picture of Legend’s face as a baby!
