John Legend has released the music video for his version of ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ featuring Esperanza Spalding.
The festive visual was unveiled during John and his wife Chrissy Teigen’s A Legendary Christmas special last night on NBC, however, has since been shared on YouTube.
During the video, John and Esperanza are joined by a number of children as they perform their duet in various classic Christmas settings. Later on in the visual, the kids are centre stage as they take on the roles of trumpet players, bakers, ballerinas and even Santa himself.

‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ is taken from John’s recently released Christmas album, A Legendary Christmas. The 14-track album includes covers of some of our favourite Christmas songs in addition to several new festive offerings from John. The iconic Stevie Wonder appears on the album’s first song, ‘What Christmas Means to Me’, by playing the harmonica.
