Whilst JP Cooper is busy working on his forthcoming sophomore album, the singer-songwriter has treated fans to a reworking of his popular Raised Under Grey Skies track, ‘All This Love’.
Teaming up with rising star Mali-Koa, The Voice contestant and sister of 5 Seconds of Summer’s Calum Hood, ‘All This Love’ has been turned into a stunning duet which oozes soul in abundance. Both JP and Mali-Koa deliver sensational vocals which capture the song’s emotion perfectly. Not only do they sound great individually, but their voices blend together wonderfully too.
A vivid animated visual for the song has also been unveiled, which draws inspiration from Disney’s Coco and Tim Burton’s movie classics. Directed by Broken Antler, the visual follows a Day of the Dead-inspired JP constantly being reminded of a past love.
Speaking about the video, JP said: “When thinking about this track, I was massively inspired by Tim Burton and the new animated movie Coco. When we recorded it, we used quite a lot of ghoulish sounds, the BV’s, and little sound effects especially. Even the staccato piano on the last chorus sounds like it’s being played by a skeleton—almost like you can hear the bones.”
“For some reason, I see this particular skeleton being a puppet on strings… animated still but a puppet. The chorus is him waltzing with the memory of the girl down the corridors of the house and in and out of rooms staring into each other’s eyes.”

‘All This Love’ is a fan favourite from JP’s debut album Raised Under Grey Skies, which also featured the hits ‘September Song’, ‘Passport Home’, ‘She’s On My Mind’, and ‘Momma’s Prayers’ featuring Stormzy.
Since breaking through as the vocalist on Jonas Blue’s ‘Perfect Strangers’ in 2016, JP has grown from strength to strength, achieving critical acclaim and success around the globe. We’re truly excited to see what his new era of music will bring, and look forward to continue following his journey.
