After dominating the charts this year as a featured artist on three hot collaborations, Justin Bieber is back in the driving seat with his new single ‘Friends’.

‘Friends’ is a slick, infectious dance track which has hit written all over it. Whilst there are elements of EDM, the track definitely has a poppier feel to it, particularly when Justin croons, “So I’m wondering, can we still be friends?”

The track sees Justin team up once more with BloodPop®, who also worked with him on the global phenomenon ‘Sorry’ and other tracks from his previous album Purpose. ‘Friends’ also credits dream team duo Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter as songwriters, both of whom also co-wrote ‘Sorry’.

Since its release, the internet has gone wild for the song, with #Friends currently trending worldwide.

Take a listen to ‘Friends’ below.

‘Friends’ is Justin’s first lead artist single since his 2016 hit ‘Company’. It is yet unknown whether the track is a standalone single or the first offering from the singer’s fifth studio album.

Justin has been dominant on charts across the globe this year thanks to three collaborations: ‘I’m The One’ with DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper, Quavo, and Lil Wayne, ‘2U’ with David Guetta’, and the worldwide sensation ‘Despacito’ Remix with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.

Whilst we’ve enjoyed his recent collaborations, Justin has definitely saved the best track for himself. There’s no doubt that Justin Bieber is one of the most influential artists in the world, and ‘Friends’ is only going to continue to propel him to the dizziest of heights.
