Teaming up with Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas, and Meghan Trainor, BBC Radio 1 has made a parody of Kanye West’s music video, “Famous.”
West’s video did stir up controversy. It shows what looks like George W. Bush, Anna Wintour, Chris Brown, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, as well as Donald Trump, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, and Bill Cosby lying in a bed nude. Kanye and Kim Kardashian West are also featured in the array of naked celebrities.
A parody of the infamous bed sharing has been put together by BBC Radio 1. The celebrities are sharing the bed with their clothes on in this parody! Not all of the participants were together when they filmed so clever editing was used.
Unlike the original music video, the celebrities are talking to one another as they lay in bed. The only celebrities that are shown together in one shot are the lovable, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin from 5SOS, as well as comedy duo Ant & Dec.
Justin Bieber shares the bed with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Cheryl asks, “out of the two of us, who do you think is the hottest?” Justin replies, “probably me. No I’m just messing with you, but I do have a perfect symmetrical face.” The radio station had filmed the participants over time and used stand ins to read the other person’s lines. Justin was talking to host, Nick Grimshaw.
Take a look at the parody featuring Troye Sivan, Meghan Trainor, Carly Rae Jepsen, Nick Jonas, Justin Bieber, Ant & Dec, 5 Seconds of Summer, Craig David, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
