It’s seems not so long ago when Justin Bieber was making headlines for all the wrong reasons. That is a thing of the past, with Justin now making headlines for all the right reasons.
Bieber recently sat down with Complex Magazine and opened up about his wild past, Selena Gomez, and how his faith in God brought him to where he his today.
The Where Are Ü Now singer comments on that scandal-ridden period of his life, claiming that he lost sense of who he was, who he was raised to be. He goes on to say that he won’t necessarily apologize for his antics, because it now gives him a relatable story to tell. Bieber notes that his story is far from over, saying, “Now, I went through my shit, I came out on the other side, and I’m going to show you it gets better.”
Justin touched briefly on the subject of former girlfriend, Selena Gomez. He says that while they loved each other fiercely, their fights were just as fierce. Bieber notes that he found his identity in her, and she in him, and that was one reason for their falling out. Now, Bieber says that he’s learning to rely on God. He shares his new outlook on life, saying, “I just wanna honestly live like Jesus.”
