Karmen Has Dropped New Song And Video “Shake It” On Global Records

Karmen continues to make waves with her career on Global Records. First, we had her awesome debut single “You Got It”; then she dropped “Minte-Ma”; her third single was a collaboration with Achi, titled “Viciul Meu”; and, now we have another English song, titled “Shake It”, that is beyond catchy.

The soon to be released song boasts songwriters Vlad Lucan, Sebastian Barac, Marcel Botezan, Annalise Morelli, and Alina Smith, whilst the video was directed by Bogdan Daragiu.

The song mixes a club and dance track with some serious deep house vibes that we completely love; reminding us slightly of Antonia’s “Get Up And Dance“, only with Karmen’s unique stamp.

The video is a black and white visual displaying this incredible female artist. She proves that she is also a dancer, easily translating the song into a freestyle dance where she certainly shakes it. We also love the fact that some of the lyrics appear, emboldening the specific words and making sure the audience hear them; our favourite is definitely: “Why yo calling me baby”.

We expect the track to be released in the next few days. For now, we’ll be playing this video often and trying to learn Karmen’s dance moves.
