KCON is the world’s biggest KPOP fan convention and is reaching new heights for this year.

KCON New York will take place for the first time in Manhattan with two concerts at the legendary venue Madison Square Garden and a Korean pop culture convention during the day at the Javits Center on July 6th and 7th. While KCON Los Angeles will take place August 15th through the 18th and will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center and STAPLES Center.

Last year’s KCON broke records with over 94,000 fans in attendance at the LA stop. KCON 2018 USA closed out the summer with a combined total of 147,000 attendees for its two U.S. events in 2018. Idols such as Red Velvet, Stray Kids, Wanna One and EXID took to the stage, bringing together fans and their favourite KPOP idols, with performances and chances for ‘Hi-touches’ (meet and greets.)

The expansion of the ‘world’s biggest KPOP convention’ comes after the
rising popularity of South Korean pop culture in the U.S following many artists gaining populatity in the States, most notably BTS with two No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 in 2018. Other artists that have reached incredible heights in the US include Blackpink, Monsta X and GOT7.

KCON tickets will be on sale very soon from kconusa.com.For all the latest you can follow the KCONUSA and CelebMix twitter accounts!
