Kelly Clarkson is hosting the Billboard Music Awards on May 20th! It was announced on April 17th that Kelly Clarkson will be the host of the awards show, making it her first time hosting any award show! The Voice judge and American Idol champion will show off another talent of hers, which is her funny and charming humor that everyone adores her for.
Clarkson posted on her Instagram announcing her hosting gig.
In a press conference Clarkson stated how she will prepare herself for the big day.
“I already have 20 costumes changed planned,” Clarkson said in a statement, “I will be flying in like my girl P!nk, and calling Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman for jokes. Well, or I’m just gonna show up and celebrate my favorite artists and get to know a few more. Yeah, maybe I’ll go with that plan.” Whatever plan Clarkson decides to follow through with, we can’t wait to see her take the hosting stage on May 20th on NBC at 8PM ET/5PM PT.
