Singer-songwriter Kris James has released his electric second single, ‘Anymore’.
Self-penned by Kris and produced by Tom Fuller (Robbie Williams, David Guetta), ‘Anymore’ is a brooding anthem which sees the singer yearning for another “day out in the sunshine” or “night under the moon”, allowing him to get away from the stresses of day to day life.
The track begins with a thumping beat which captivates the listener immediately, before leading into the hypnotic pre-chorus which sees Kris plotting an escape from the humdrum of daily life with a loved one.
‘Anymore’ is laced with an irresistible 80’s electro groove throughout, an experimental choice which is different to what we’ve previously heard from Kris. Despite a busy production, the track also allows Kris’ smooth vocals to shine from start to finish.
Speaking about the track, Kris said: “This is a completely new sound for me, and I’m excited for everyone to hear it. The inspiration of the track is about escaping the rat race of life for a week in the sunshine with the person you love.”

‘Anymore’ follows on from Kris’ debut solo single ‘Eyes Open’, which has garnered over 330,000 streams on Spotify. The track, which discusses breaking free from being in an abusive relationship, was the perfect debut release to kickstart Kris’ solo career, whilst ‘Anymore’ further cements that he is certainly one to watch in the industry.
