This 22-year-old singer/songwriter, Kyan Palmer, has teamed up with CelebMix for his exclusive release of his debut music video “Hidden Feelings”. It is his second single to date, following on from “Burn Mona Lisa” – which has almost 2.5 million Spotify plays. This new song was released on 30 June and on Friday, he dropped an acoustic version of the track.
As of today, the track has 128,000 Spotify plays, although we reckon the drop of this music video will surely launch the Spotify count. The video was directed by ZANE, who has directed music videos for Dillon Scott, Tori V, and Paloma Rush.
We’re excited to be revealing this music video, and so is Kyan Palmer. Upon the premiere, he said: “I cannot wait for new people to discover the video and the song.”

The music video stars Kyan Palmer and his on-screen love interest, who is played by actress Jade Bender, in various steamy scenes. The singer revealed that the concept is “a twisted love story” which relates to the song in every way.
We definitely agree. We love how the visual delves into the feelings of these characters, they’re certainly having their problems; yet, they aren’t communicating with each other. We can literally see the tension between them, as well as the chemistry, all mixed up in the smoke, the lights, and the camera filters.
There’s plenty of intimate scenes throughout, from the opening to the bed scene to the bath tub; the latter of which included them both getting wet. They convey the story completely and fully get into their roles.
Intercut throughout is a performance piece from Kyan Palmer. He’s clearly passionate about this song and willing to delve into his emotional vibes which are needed to express the meaning of this track. If he can bring it this much for the video, just imagine what he’s like on stage! We hope we get the chance to see him perform one day.
