Less than a day after it was revealed that the Better Business Bureau gave Kylie Cosmetics a solid F rating, Jenner spoke out about her makeup company on her instagram.
After receiving numerous complaints from the consumers about the defective quality, the young entrepreneur decided to respond to her five million followers.
“I’ve sold millions of lip kits and any complaint we’ve received to date has been addressed in a timely manner. I’m sick and tired of people coming for my business,” Jenner writes on her Kylie Cosmetics instagram.
According to recent reports, Kylie’s company has received 137 customer complaints in the nine months that is has been operating. Constant problems ranged from security breaches to poorly packed kits. However, the majority of the complaints were about the expensive shipping rates that tag along with each order. But don’t fret! Kylie is aware of what her consumers are saying and states on instagram that she is “working on lowering domestic shipping OR doing some special free shipping days.”
It’s clear that the young star is listening to what her fans are saying, and she is responding accordingly. Jeffree Star, who also owns a cosmetic line, shamed Kylie Jenner for her poor quality check when several of the products arrived defective. Kylie responded and promised that she would continually work to improve her brand.
“I changed my entire matte formula in the first month to be less dry and thick and I changed the wand to be more comfortable because I listen to you guys, and I love perfection. So good or bad, I love hearing your feedback,” she wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “When I saw the problem with my lip gloss brushes I stopped all production and changed it. Life is a learning experience and we learn from our mistakes.”
With the entire world watching her every move, every day is a learning experience for this gal.
